Marvin Kasper is a German Designer based in Cologne. He works as a Product Designer at MAGAZIN, where he develops functional and sustainable objects for everyday use. His practice is rooted in a background in craftsmanship, which shaped his strong material
awareness and hands on approach to making.
During his studies, he developed his first furniture designs for the retailer Connox. These projects gained international recognition and received awards including the Red Dot Award. He continued his path as a product designer at MAY Design while completing his master’s degree at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design, focusing on circular systems and material driven development. Alongside his role in the industry, he works independently on self initiated projects and collaborations.
His work is defined by subtle conceptual shifts that invite new perspectives on familiar objects. Guided by clarity in form and logic in construction, he creates intuitive products that communicate their function through gesture and proportion. Marvin Kasper is inspired by the interplay between materials and manufacturing processes and aims to further deepen his exploration of circular design principles in future projects.
