FÖRNİ Supports the Turkey Pavilion at the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale

FÖRNİ, Venedik Mimarlık Bienali 2025 Türkiye Pavyonu’na Destek Verdi

One of the world’s most important architectural events, the 19th International Architecture Exhibition of the Venice Biennale, took place in Venice between May 10 and November 23, 2025. As part of the Biennale, the project “Yerebasan (Grounded)”, curated by Ceren Erdem and Bilge Kalfa, was presented to visitors at the Turkey Pavilion.

FÖRNİ proudly supported this important international project as one of the production supporters, contributing to the strong representation of Türkiye in the fields of architecture and design.

The “Yerebasan” exhibition placed soil, one of the fundamental elements of architecture, at its core and presented an interdisciplinary perspective emphasizing soil as a carrier of ecological, cultural, and historical memory. By bringing together works from architecture, art, and science, the exhibition invited visitors to reconsider our relationship with nature.

Approaching soil as an ecosystem that carries life, knowledge, and culture, the project combined traditional building techniques with contemporary research, opening new discussions around sustainable architecture. Throughout the exhibition, visitors had the opportunity to experience works by architects, artists, and researchers from diverse disciplines.

During the Venice Biennale, the Turkey Pavilion also received wide coverage in international architecture and design publications, attracting attention with its powerful narrative on the relationship between architecture and nature.

At FÖRNİ, we continue to support projects that contribute to the development of design and architectural culture, and we are proud to help make creative productions from Türkiye more visible on international platforms.
